Idea 1. HYBRID ELECTRIC MECHANICH PROPULSION

Proposal: Miguel Lamas Prado (Vulcano Factories)

 It studies the different alternatives of the electric and mixed (mechanic and electric) propulsion, based on the type of boat.

The idea develops a mature technology application used in ships with high technological value, witch until the moment has been used little or nothing in fishing boats.

       

 Idea 2.Take advantage of the eolic energy

Proposal: Stephan Wrange (SkySails).

This idea proposes the use of comets taking advantage of the wind as propulsion source.The comets are designed specially for fishing boats linked to them with a traction cable.
